Job Description

Uhuru is looking for a multi-talented woodworker to join our rapidly growing, high-end manufacturing facility in Denver, Pennsylvania. As a woodworker, you will take pieces from inception through fabrication while meeting our stringent quality standards. Experience in both solid wood and engineered products is required, as our line ranges from slabs to case goods and everything in between. The position is full time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Mastery of techniques, skills, and processes involved in woodworking, fabrication and finishing
• Knowledge of CAD and CNC programing a plus
• Excellent communications skills – expresses ideas and issues clearly to management and co-workers
• Ability to build from technical drawings and recommend improvements
• Work independently and with a team
• Maintain high quality standards
• Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
• Familiarity with sustainable manufacturing techniques
