Our Sugar Stools start with sourcing reclaimed wood beams. A CNC machine then precision-cuts a faceted hexagonal design into the top end of the beam. The beam is cut down length-wise to sections, revealing a unique finish that naturally transitions from the pristine angles of the seat to the rough-hewn base.
The name comes from our original Sugar Stools, created from reclaimed pine beams salvaged from Brooklyn’s original Domino Sugar Refinery. Learn more about the redevelopment of the Sugar Refinery and the Domino Park Project.
