Uhuru is looking for a multi-talented metal fabricator to join our rapidly growing, high-end custom furniture shop in Denver, Pennsylvania. As a Metal Fabricator, you will take pieces from inception through fabrication while meeting our stringent quality standards, and producing work with a detail focused fit and finish. The position is full time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of TIG & MIG welding, basic metal shop practices, surface preparation for patinas, plating, and powder coating.
• Fabrication on a wide variety of projects for high end residential, retail, and commercial settings.
• Excellent communications skills – expresses ideas and issues clearly to management and co-workers.
• Ability to build from technical drawings and recommend improvements.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Maintain high quality standards.
• Ability to adapt to changes in workflow.
• Assist in managing project timelines.
