SCRAP HAPPY Home accessories company Uhuru was founded in 2004 by school pals Bill Hilgendorf and Jason Horvath. Both designers place a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmentally friendly materials, as well as beauty and style. The stools (or 'Stoolen,' pictured here) are made from wood scraps collected from local workshops and salvaged bicycle rims.
